Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games Closes

| Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- The Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games closed with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on Friday. It was opened to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. In the games men players of the Defense Sports Team of the Korean People's Army and the Pyongyang Sports Team set world new records and new records of the Republic at the shooting, archery and weightlifting events. The April 25 Sports Team placed first in the standings. Men and women players of the April 25 Sports Team won basketball games. They also took the first place in the volleyball games. |
