Events Held Abroad to Celebrate WPK Congress

| Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- There took place an opening ceremony of a photo, book and art work exhibition and a film show in Russia, a meeting, photo and book exhibition and film show in Mexico and a lecture in Slovenia from April 19 to 23 in the run up to the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). Displayed at the events were photos showing the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and their works, books and photos introducing the DPRK and art works associated with wisdom and talents of the Korean people. A Korean film "Grand Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of Workers' Party of Korea in Presence of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un" was screened at the film shows. A statement was adopted at the meeting in Mexico. |
