Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, said in a report that the publication of Kim Jong Il's work on May 1, Juche 65 (1976) serves as a noteworthy event that opened up a phase of a signal turn in developing the Juche-oriented public health.

He went on:

Kim Jong Il comprehensively formulated and systematized the issues arising in the principle and method of managing the hospitals and embodiment of them on the basis of the philosophical principle centered on man.

The work is an immortal great programme that brightly indicated the way for developing the socialist public health and managing the hospitals.

Under the wise leadership of the WPK, great changes have been made in the management of hospitals and medical care for promoting the people's health over the past four decades.

The reporter called for more highly displaying the advantages of the socialist public health system of the DPRK by thoroughly carrying out the important tasks set forth in the work.
