S. Korean Lawmaker from Opposition Party Accused of Supporting Humiliating "Agreement" with Japan
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea released a statement on Tuesday in protest against the reckless remarks made by a lawmaker from an opposition party to support the "agreement" with Japan on sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to south Korean online newspaper Thongil News.

The statement recalled the representative of the emergency measure committee of the opposition Dobulo Democratic Party called for hastening the implementation of the "agreement" at a meeting with the Japanese ambassador to south Korea that day.

Such irresponsible act of ignoring the victims of the sexual slavery and civic and social bodies that have rejected the humiliating "agreement" is giving a greater shock to the public than when the regime unilaterally concluded the "agreement" with Japan, the statement said, adding:

What is more deplorable is that such rubbish was talked by him shortly after the victory of opposition parties in the 20th "National Assembly" election.

He should immediately apologize to the victims of sexual slavery and people for his reckless remarks.
