The baby home and orphanage built in a peculiar style on the picturesque bank of the River Amnok are equipped with all amenities and environment necessary for upbringing and educating children at the highest level including rooms for nursing and education, rooms for intelligence games, dancing room, combined fun-fair, indoor wadding pool, physical exercise room and treatment room.

Present at the ceremony were officials, children, employees, builders and working people in the province and city.

At the end of the ceremony, children of the baby home and orphanage laid bouquets before pictures depicting the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the main lobbies and entered their cradles of love.
