Newspaper Rio Panorama on April 20 carried an article titled "Principle of giving priority to self-development", which said the Korean people turned out as one in the struggle to bring about bigger success in the revolution and construction on their own efforts, upholding the slogan "Let us usher in a golden age in building a thriving nation in this year when the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held!"

The article noted the self-reliance based on the undying Juche idea was a precious tradition of the DPRK.

Newspaper Byvor on April 22 carried an article titled "Setting it as primary goal to meet independent demand of people".

The article said:

The 70 year-long history of the WPK is the one in which it has struggled after setting it as its primary goal to meet the independent demand of the people, taking motherly care of their destiny.

The WPK is called the mother party by the people who entirely entrust their destiny and future upon the party and wholeheartedly trust it as it keeps Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as its guidelines and works, regarding it as the supreme principle of its activities to serve the people.

Online news agency Vlad News on April 22 said that the Korean people achieved many successes in the fields of economy and national defence under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The media edited at least 100 photos introducing the DPRK in which a series of changes are being made under his leadership.
