Rodong Sinmun says the working people of the DPRK have performed shining feats for the party and leader, the country and revolution under the wise guidance of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

It goes on:

President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il built the Workers' Party of Korea into the party of the working people and mass party both in name and reality and led the revolution and construction to victory by arousing broad strata of workers, farmers and intellectuals. .

It was Kim Il Sung who embraced once maltreated and oppressed workers, farmers and intellectuals and let them give play to their patriotic enthusiasm and creative ingenuity, thus building a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence in a short historic period. And it was Kim Jong Il who trained all working people as genuine revolutionaries remaining boundlessly loyal to the idea and cause of the leader.

The great leaders visited factories, co-op fields and scientific research institutes across the country and bestowed upon the ordinary working people the high honor of being models and heroes of the times. Such loving care and profound trust shown by them are brilliantly recorded in the history of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The course covered by the working people of Juche Korea who have demonstrated only victories and glory, holding the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in high esteem, proves the immutable truth that the great leader and the great party train the great people and no force on earth can bar the great Korean people from advancing to achieve prosperity of the country in the indomitable revolutionary spirit and with strong will and burning patriotism.

Minju Joson says no force on earth can block the Korean people advancing toward the final victory, united close around Marshal Kim Jong Un. It calls for giving fullest play to the heroic stamina of the Korean working people by creating the new Mallima speed in building a thriving nation under the leadership of the party.
