British Organizations Voice Solidarity with S. Korean People's Actions

| Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK made public a joint statement on April 20 on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the April 19 Popular Uprising in south Korea. Referring to the significance of the popular uprising in opening a new chapter in the south Korean people's struggle for independence, democracy and national reunification, the statement said: The spirit of the popular uprising lives on. South Korea is still groaning under the corrupt dictatorship. Though 50 odd years have passed since the popular uprising, the U.S. imperialists are still present in south Korea where the puppet fascist regime reigns. The Park Geun Hye fascist regime should be brought down and the U.S. imperialists be driven out of south Korea through the second or third April 19 Uprising. We voice firm solidarity with the south Korean people in their struggle for independence, democracy and national reunification. |
