As soon as the decision of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK on convening the congress was announced late in October last year, political parties, organizations and personages of different countries made public statements hailing it.

Honorary titles and certificates of exploits are being conferred upon the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu by Peru, Bangladesh and other countries in the run-up to the congress.

Preparatory committees were formed one after another in many countries such as Russia, Romania, Germany and Nigeria and by the international and regional bodies such as the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain and the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions.

Seminars, lectures, book and photo exhibitions and other diverse events are taking place to celebrate the congress with splendor under the sponsorship of the preparatory committees chaired by prominent figures of governments, political parties and organizations.

International solidarity activities to support the just cause of the party and people of the DPRK are being conducted in the run-up to the Seventh Congress of the WPK in response to the appeal of the 20th seminar of political parties of the world on building a new society.

Foreign media are giving wide publicity to the policies and lines of the WPK and their validity and vitality and the successes made in the 70-day campaign of loyalty.
