S. Korean Bodies Denounce Authorities for Backing Conservative Forces' Reckless Acts

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress, the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps, the Institute for National Studies and other civic and public organizations of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on April 29 at which they lashed out at the south Korean authorities for abetting the conservative forces' reckless acts.

Speakers there disclosed the fact that ultra-right conservative bodies including the "Oboi Yonhap" obstructed the anti-"government" struggle of the organizations from across the spectrum.

A press release was read out.

Great irony was the behavior of the present regime making desperate efforts to save the power from collapsing after facing the punishment of the people in the election, the release said, calling upon the "National Assembly" to probe the truth behind the illegal acts through investigation into the state policy.

Park Geun Hye should accept the people's mindset manifested in the NA election and immediately stop the behaviors against democracy, people's livelihood, peace and reunification, it added.
