The statement said:

In recent days the Japanese authorities are working hard to crack down on Chongryon, the legitimate overseas citizens' organization of the DPRK, while frantically conducting the hostile moves against the DPRK with the mobilization of all state power.

Today in Japan the sentiment against the Koreans in which Chongryon and Koreans in Japan are discriminated and rejected is being created due to the Japanese authorities' hostile policy toward the DPRK and Chongryon.

We strongly urge the Japanese authorities to stop all sorts of hostile moves against the DPRK and Chongryon, resolutely denouncing the politically-motivated suppression of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan which is being openly committed.

We will support the Korean people in their just cause of defending the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation and wage a dynamic struggle against the Japanese reactionaries' unethical acts.
