The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article titled "80-odd years along with Songun revolution" said:

President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, founded the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) on April 25, 1932.

The KPRA defeated the Japanese imperialists who styled themselves the "leader" of Asia even though it had neither state-backing home front nor assistance of a regular army, thus achieving the cause of national liberation.

After the liberation of Korea the KPA developed into the regular armed forces and shattered to smithereens the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists that boasted of being the "strongest" in the world in the Korean war which the U.S. launched to nip the DPRK in its bud, thereby defending the freedom and independence of the country.

After the war the KPA honorably protected the security of the country and the gains of the revolution while mercilessly foiling the repeated provocations by the U.S.

Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il directed top priority efforts to boosting military muscle under the uplifted banner of Songun.

The glorious history of the KPA will be everlasting along with the Songun revolution making a long drive.
