Guinean Personage Slams U.S. Smear Campaign against DPRK

Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Abdoulaye Diallo, chairman of the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea, on April 30 made public a statement condemning the U.S. for staging an anti-DPRK smear campaign over the test-fire of strategic submarine ballistic missile in the DPRK. The statement accused the U.S. and its followers of spouting absurd sophism that the DPRK's test-fire of SLBM is in violation of the UN Security Council's "resolutions" and destabilizing the regional and international situation. It continued: The U.S. harassing peace in various parts of the world with huge nuclear weapons is free from sanctions and criticism whereas the DPRK is "under fire" for bolstering up the capabilities for self-defence to protect the sovereignty and dignity of the country from the U.S. aggression. Why? We strongly denounce this unfair behavior of the UNSC pursuant to the U.S. policy. The present situation in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya teaches the lesson that any country weak in military muscle can hardly protect its sovereignty and that of the nation and its people will be subject to all misfortunes. We sincerely congratulate the Korean people on the great achievements made in their efforts to bolster up the capability for self-defense. We urge the UNSC not to toe the U.S. line any longer but ensure impartiality. |
