The basic spirit of the party congress is to launch a general offensive and all-out death-defying campaign on the self-development-first principle, holding aloft the banner of great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and thus bring earlier the final victory of the cause of the Juche revolution.

"Let the whole party, the entire army and all the people go all out for the implementation of the tasks advanced at the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea to hasten the final victory of the Juche revolution!" This is the slogan the party, army and people should hold high in their struggle.

The WPK and the Korean people have honorable yet important duty to launch a general offensive to implement the grand programme unrolled at the party congress under the unfurled banner of uninterrupted revolution.

Very huge are the tasks of the revolution and vicious are the hostile forces' moves, but there are neither difficulties insurmountable nor fortress unconquerable for us when we buckle down to our drive with a will.

We are under the tested guidance of the party and have a precious history and tradition of self-reliance and self-development and a mighty weapon of unbreakable single-minded unity.

Only victory and glory are always in store for our revolution as there are invincible guidance of the great Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist party and the servicepersons and people ready to promptly respond to the party's call.
