Han Song Guk, a student of Kim Il Sung University, told KCNA:

We, students, would like to extend highest respects and warmest congratulations to supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

His election to the top post of the WPK is a great national event as it guarantees the rosy future and prosperity of Juche Korea. And it is a high honor of all the youths.

I will study harder to be a scientist faithful to the leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is turning the country into a socialist power of Juche, true to the behests of the great leaders.

Yun Kwang Il, chairman of the Phyongwon County Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, said:

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the WPK is an expression of our army's, people's and youths' absolute support and deep trust in him who has led the Songun revolution to victory.

He put forward us, youths, as reserve forces, advancing group and wing of the WPK. Under his guidance, legendary tales about heroic youths have been created and Songun Korea is displaying its dignity as a youth power.

I will prepare myself as a competent teacher and a field instructor of the youth revolutionary school which trains the staunch fighters for carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche.
