Birthrate of Deformed Babies Increases in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- The birthrate of deformed babies is on the increase in south Korea, according to south Korean CBS. According to survey results, congenital deformed babies born in seven cities in 2009 and 2010 reached 5.5 for every hundred, a marked increase over those in the previous year. Those concerned attributed this serious situation to air-pollution and environmental depletion. |
