The dance suite, made up of prologue, three acts and epilogue, tells about the wise leadership and devoted efforts made by the peerlessly great persons to turn the whole country into golden mountains and fields and usher in a new history of golden sea.

Duet dance "Changsong Is an Earthly Paradise" and solo dance "In a Transformed Plain" represent the optimistic life of working people in Changsong County who have turned the mountains around their hometown into golden and treasure ones, true to President Kim Il Sung's teaching that it is needed to make good use of the mountains in mountainous areas, and peasants in Handre Plain which underwent a cataclysmic change under the guidance of leader Kim Jong Il.

The suite also includes male group dance "Whistle of Fishing Vessel Tanphung (autumn tints)", mixed group dance "It's Good to See Golden Mountains" and song and dance "Sea of Apples at Foot of Chol Pass".

They impressively show the stirring reality of the country which makes a new history of changes under the guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The National Folk Art Troupe, founded in October Juche 36 (1947), is a veteran troupe in the country, which gave a deep impression on the citizens by creating a folk dance suite "People in the Walled City of Pyongyang" in the late 1990's.
