According to Kim Ryong Jin, director of the company, told KCNA:

My company began mass-producing iridescent paints with domestic materials, true to the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of increasing the proportion of locally available finishing building materials.

The paints have been applied to different projects like the Central Zoo.
