Kim Jong Un's Policies for National Reunification Supported by Chongryon Chairman

Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- We fully and warmly support the policies of national reunification advanced by Marshal Kim Jong Un in his report on the review of the work of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), and are filled with the firm determination to carry out them at any cost. Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), said this in a statement on Monday. At the Seventh Congress of the WPK Kim Jong Un clarified the new line and policies of national reunification to weather the difficulties and comprehensively indicated the ways of carrying out them, Ho said, and went on: Kim Jong Un set forth the national independence, great national unity, ensuring of peace and realization of federal formula as the policies of national reunification according to the most just Juche-based line of reunification based on the transparent spirit of national independence and comprehensively applied to the three charters for national reunification. He also clearly indicated the ways of fundamentally improving the north-south relations which are urgently required at present, and clarified even the principled issues arising in those countries concerned with the division of Korea and its neighboring countries. Chongryon and Koreans in Japan will uphold the reunification policies indicated by Kim Jong Un, the great lodestar of national reunification, in one mind and with every possible effort, and make a tangible contribution to building a dignified and prosperous reunified power, an advanced highly civilized nation with 80 million population and tremendous national power on the beloved land. Chongryon and Koreans in Japan will discharge their honorable mission and patriotic duty in the struggle to pave a wide avenue to independent reunification, full of conviction of certain victory and optimism that Korea is sure to be reunified thanks to Kim Jong Un. |
