It said that the 7th Congress of the WPK which is of historic significance in the development of the Korean revolution closed after successfully finishing its work, adding:

The 7th Congress of the WPK decided to elect Kim Jong Un as chairman of the WPK reflecting the unanimous will and desire of all party members, service personnel and people.

The congress provided another landmark for the Workers' Party, army and people of Korea in their struggle for accomplishing the Juche-oriented cause of socialism uplifting the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Now all members of the Workers' Party, service personnel and people of Korea have turned out as one in the struggle for carrying out the tasks advanced at the 7th Congress of the WPK under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The Communists of Britain are extending the greatest glory to Kim Jong Un, chairman of the WPK, who successfully guided the recent party congress.
