Victims of Sexual Slavery Demand Japan's Official Apology and Reparation

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Victims of sexual slavery in south Korea and other countries held a press conference in Seoul to press for an official apology and legal reparation from the Japanese government for the past unethical crimes. Speeches were made by south Korean victims Kil Won Ok, Kim Pok Dong and Ri Yong Su and other victims of the Philippines and East Timor. The speakers made testimonies to the sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army, denouncing the Japanese government for dragging on the solution of the issue of the past sexual slavery. They noted withdrawal of the statue of a girl sexual slave is never allowable, protesting the "deal" stricken between south Korea and Japan last year. They demanded that the Japanese government make an official apology and reparation for the past sexual slavery. |
