Death of Kang Sok Ju Mourned

| Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and people from all walks of life Saturday visited the bier of Kang Sok Ju, member of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, expressing deep condolences over his death. A wreath sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un was seen standing before the bier. Also seen standing before the bier were wreaths in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, the Cabinet of the DPRK, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, ministries and national institutions. The bereaved family members were standing vigil on the side of the coffin. The mourners observed a moment's silence in memory of the late Kang Sok Ju. They expressed deep condolences for the bereaved family members of the deceased. |
