Kim Yong Nam Meets Foreign Heads of State
Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Friday separately met and had friendly talks with foreign heads of state who took part in the inaugural ceremony of the president of Equatorial Guinea. They included Idriss Deby Itno, president of Chad, Ali Bongo Ondimba, president of Gabon, Faustin Archange Touadera, president of Central Africa, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, president of Congo, Alpha Conde, president of Guinea, and Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, president of Mali.

Kim Yong Nam conveyed greetings sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un to the heads of states concerned.

They warmly congratulated Kim Jong Un on his election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), and the successful holding of the Seventh Congress of the WPK.

Kim Yong Nam Thursday met Mahamadou Issoufou, president of Niger, Therence Sinunguruza, first vice-president of Burundi, and Joaquim Alberto Chissano, former president of Mozambique.
