Kim Il Sung University has put nearly 200 classrooms on a multi-functional basis and 100-odd departments and office rooms on an IT basis. Tens of laboratories were built or renovated, with over 100 kinds of new experimental apparatuses and devices applied to them.

Kim Chaek University of Technology developed various kinds of ultra-modern educational equipment and installed them in hundreds of classrooms. It has also turned all laboratories into fashionable ones.

Pyongyang University of Architecture built electricity control rooms in different colleges and faculties to supply solar energy to over 100 classrooms.

Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering bettered the performance of experimental apparatuses and manufactured tens of modern experimental apparatuses. It has also succeeded in developing 40-odd simulation software.

Pyongyang University of Railways re-built a library and locomotive practice ground on a modern basis.

Meanwhile, Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce finished the construction of a new school building and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry completed the frame project for a general practice building.
