U.S. Is Doomed to Ruin: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- A book titled "Mission Failure" written by U.S. foreign policy expert Michael Mandelbaum, professor at Johns Hopkins University in the U.S., has drawn public interest. The writer in the book asserted that the foreign policy of the U.S., which involved itself in the disputes all over the world after the demise of the Cold War to impose upon all countries of the world the political system to its liking is now on the verge of bankruptcy. The writer made a final analysis that the U.S. recklessly interfered in the internal affairs of the countries in Africa, South America and East Europe in a bid to keep the world order favorable to it, styling itself "a world gendarme" but has repeated setbacks which were attributable to its imposition of the American-style political system upon them.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday says this was a right view. Similar voices are often heard from the international community, it notes and goes on:

It was long ago the public voiced the view that the U.S. was already on the decline and doomed to ruin and now it has become an indisputable established theory.

What merits attention is that the U.S. interfered in domestic affairs of many countries in a bid to realize the world domination, but failed to achieve its aggressive purpose. Worse still, it is finding itself in an inescapable quagmire.

The reason is clear. It is because the U.S. wild ambition for world domination is no more than a pipe dream.

Oblivious of this historical lesson, the U.S. follows in the footsteps of former empires.

A house built on the sand is bound to collapse. It is as clear as noonday that the U.S. foreign policy based on the day dream of world domination is bound to go bust and it is truth that the U.S. is fated to go to ruin.

This truth will surely be proved before long.
