S. Korean Regime's Anti-worker Policy under Fire

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Trade Unions of south Korea held a press conference outside the "government" building in Seoul on May 23, at which they protested against the regime's policy against workers.

The guidelines on general layoff and guidelines on changing employment regulations being pressed ahead with by the regime run counter to the international labor standards, they asserted.

They urged the regime to immediately retract the illegal guidelines seeking easier layoff and application of employment regulations unfavorable to the workers.

They said they would bring complaint in the International Labor Organization against the regime.
