Old Persons' Plight Gets More Miserable in South Korea

| Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- A rapidly increasing number of the old persons are collecting waste paper and cartons in streets to eke out their living due to the worsening economic crisis in south Korea, according to the south Korean CBS on Tuesday. CBS deplored that such poor old people are not taken care of by the "government." The number of such people in south Korea account for 49.6 percent, topping the world's list, it added. |
