In the message the President said he was pleased to extend the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un on his election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea on behalf of the government and people of Algeria and on his own behalf and wished Kim Jong Un success in his noble work for the well-being and prosperity of the friendly Korean people.

The message expressed the satisfaction over the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and confirmed the will to consolidate the friendly and cooperative relations together with Kim Jong Un in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
