UN Bodies Urged to Positively Move for Repatriation of DPRK Abductees
Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Organizations including the "Christian Pastors' Group for Peaceful Action" and the Korea Solidarity for Independent Reunification and Democracy, religionists, literary men and other people of different circles in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday, demanding the repatriation of 12 women employees of the DPRK who were taken to south Korea by its authorities' allurement and abduction operation, according to south Korean internet paper Tongil News.

The speakers said that they were forcibly taken to south Korea and there is a suspicion of death among them but no investigation has been made to probe the truth.

Noting that possibility of abduction seems to increase in the light of the authorities' attitude, they called for allowing immediate face-to-face meeting with them.

If Chongwadae and the Intelligence Service keep mum and connive at the case, this will prove the falsity of their loudmouthed "human rights issue in the north", they stressed.

They urged the UN bodies to actively come out for probing the truth behind the case and ensure the repatriation of the abductees.
