The statement said:

The present regime was severely punished in the past general election for its tyranny against democracy, people's livelihood, peace and reunification. Nevertheless, it is kicking off crackdown upon the union without any reflection on it.

The regime outlawed the union and forced the full-time officials of the union to return to schools. And this time, it took a step to dismiss core members of the union under the pretext that they refused to meet its demand.

The majority of education inspectors demanded the withdrawal of the step in protest against the authorities' unreasonable behavior, but the regime filed a suit with prosecution on the charge of neglect of duty.

The statement expressed astonishment at the anachronistic crackdown by the present regime.

It urged the chief executive to immediately accept the will of the people, stop the unreasonable suppression of the union and rectify anachronistic acts.
