GIs in South Korea Censured for Evading Responsibility for Environmental Pollution

Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Green Federation released a statement on May 30 censuring the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces for arrogantly evading their responsibility for polluting environment, according to a south Korean newspaper.

Negotiations for the return of the U.S. military bases in Puphyong and Wonju are delayed recently due to the GIs side evading its responsibility for the environmental pollution, the statement said, adding:

The GIs side has gone so shameless as to turn down the demand for purifying the bases polluted by it.

Pollution of the above-said bases under negotiations is also serious.

The statement condemned the GIs side for delaying the negotiations by turning down the demand for purifying the polluted bases.
