Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea held the 169th meeting for peace and disarmament on May 31 at which it condemned the south Korean authorities for tightening the military nexus with Japan. At the meeting the organization said that the authorities were mulling holding talks of defense chiefs with the U.S. and Japan to discuss issues concerning the conclusion of an agreement on protecting military intelligence with Japan, the building of a missile shield, the formation of the tri-angular military alliance, etc. The projected conclusion of the military agreement with Japan would provide the "Self-Defence Forces" with a springboard from which to advance into Korea and make south Korea subject to Japan, the organization charged. It urged the authorities to cancel the discussion for concluding the military agreement with Japan and immediately stop the moves to tighten the military nexus. |
