Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations in Pusan, south Korea are staging a widespread action denouncing the U.S. imperialist aggression forces present in south Korea for their moves for a biochemical war, according to the south Korean online paper Voice of People. More than 70 civic and social organizations including the Pusan Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, Pusan Federation of Women's Organizations, the Pusan Headquarters of the Confederation of Trade Unions formed a preparatory committee of the Pusan Citizens' Measure Committee against Establishment of the Biochemical Weapon Laboratory in Pusan on Thursday. They held an inaugural ceremony before dock No. 8 in Pusan Port, the one for exclusive use by the U.S. imperialist aggression forces. At the ceremony speakers said that the U.S. is mulling establishing a laboratory for biochemical weapons in Pusan under such absurd reasons as "importance of the military port and populous area" even though the truth behind the incident of introduction of anthrax germs has not yet been probed. They clarified that they would stage action not only in Pusan but also in all other parts of south Korea until the plan for testing the biochemical weapons is withdrawn. |
