S. Korean Newspaper Accuses Authorities of Implementing Humiliating "Agreement" with Japan

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore Wednesday in an editorial denounced the authorities for implementing the humiliating "agreement" on sexual slavery.

It accused the "government" of having officially established the preparatory committee for setting up the "foundation for comfort women" on May 31.

Referring to the solidarity statement critical of the "agreement" issued on May 30 by 15 research institutions representing Japanese historical circles, the editorial underscored the need to re-negotiate the settlement of issue of sexual slavery.
