S. Korean Organization Slashes at Authorities' Moves to Set up "Foundation"

Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1 233rd Wednesday meeting before the Japanese embassy in Seoul on June 1 to denounce the puppet regime for its moves to install a "foundation" insulting the victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

At the meeting Kim Pok Dong, victim of sexual slavery, accused the Park Geun Hye regime of establishing a preparatory committee for inaugurating the "foundation" on May 31, as a follow-up to the "agreement" on sexual slavery it made with Japan.

Yun Mi Hyang, permanent representative of the Council, deplored that the authorities are working hard to cover up Japan's crimes for one billion yen though it refuses to repent of and make apology and reparation for the sexual slavery.

A statement read out at the meeting urged the Japanese government to admit the crimes related to sexual slavery and make apology and legal reparation without fail.

It rejected the establishment of the "foundation."
