Wage Increase Demanded by S. Korean Workers
Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a meeting in demand of wage increase before the building of the puppet Ministry of Employment and Labor on June 2, according to the south Korean newspaper Nodong and Segye.

The organization said that the minimum wage committee held a meeting to decide the minimum wage in 2017 that day.

In case the plutocrats reassert minimum wage freeze under a groundless pretext, they will meet strong resistance, it warned

It said that it would struggle for wage hike till the minimum wage is finally decided.

In another development, that day the KCTU declared it would stage intensive actions for wage hike in 13 areas of south Korea.
