Various circles of south Korea as well as overseas Koreans are expressing support and approval to our patriotic decision and demanding the south Korean authorities make a responsible option.

Nevertheless, they, who are short-sighted and obsessed with abnormal concept of confrontation, have taken a provocative attitude, far from thanking us for our sincerity for improving the inter-Korean relations.

The DPRK proposed dialogue with the south Korean authorities, prompted by its heavy responsibility before the nation to tide over the grave confrontational state and pave the way to reunification.

It is the dirty act of those displeased with the improvement of the north-south relations and reunification that they branded the proposal as "tactics" or something like that.

Dialogue and negotiations are the ways of removing misunderstanding and mistrust and promoting confidence and unity.

Those keen on confrontation against reunification while going against the trend of the times and the desire of the nation will be forced to pay a dear price.
