Members of the delegation laid a floral basket in the name of the party before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

The president of the party said:

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il was an outstanding statesman and the leader of the people who developed the WPK into an invincible party which formed a harmonious whole with the leader and the masses and a true people's party which serves the people, regarding the Juche idea founded by Generalissimo Kim Il Sung as guidelines.

Marshal Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the WPK at its 7th Congress is another great fortune for the party, army and people of the DPRK.

I wish the Korean people greater success in their struggle for carrying out the important tasks set forth at the 7th Congress of the WPK under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
