Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, made a speech there.

He said that supreme leader Kim Jong Un invited the delegates of the children's union from across the country to the celebrations the 70th founding anniversary of the KCU and made sure that a birthday party was given for those delegates marking their birthdays during their stay in Pyongyang.

He called upon the delegates of the union to prepare themselves as excellent talents of the revolution, knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy, and successors who would shoulder upon the future of Korea, always bearing in mind the loving care shown by Kim Jong Un.
