Present there were members of the WPK delegation and the DPRK ambassador to Vietnam and members of the CPV Central Committee including the permanent vice-director of the Organizational Department and the vice-director of the Department for External Affairs.

Choe referred to the fact that the service personnel and people of the DPRK are turning out in the 200-day campaign of loyalty to carry out the decision made at the party congress with the great pride of having elected supreme leader Kim Jong Un as chairman of the WPK at its Seventh Congress.

Clarifying the stand of the DPRK to make a positive contribution to defending global peace and security as a responsible nuclear weapons state, Choe underscored the need to develop the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two peoples forged in the joint struggle for socialism.

Tran Quoc Vuong warmly welcomed the WPK delegation on behalf of the CPV Central Committee and expressed belief that the fraternal Korean people would certainly implement the last instructions of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il under the guidance of Chairman of the WPK Kim Jong Un.

The party and people of Vietnam would invariably support the party and people of the DPRK in their just cause to protect the security and sovereignty of the country and socialism and reunify the country, he stressed.

The WPK delegation was invited to the reception hosted by the CPV Central Committee on the same day.
