It was watched by Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Han Sang Jun, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and students of schools of orphans in the city.

The students selected from the schools of orphans across the country competed in 10 events including basketball, volleyball, Ssirum (Korean wrestling) and 100m race.

They displayed their sporting techniques they have trained at the sports groups.

The Kangwon Provincial team placed first in total standings.
