Choe Thae Bok said that the Seventh Congress of the WPK elected Comrade Kim Jong Un as chairman of the WPK reflecting the unanimous will and desire of all the party members, service personnel and people.

In his report on the review of the work of the C.C., the WPK made at its Seventh Congress, Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the tasks and ways of accomplishing the socialist cause of Juche, Choe said.

He congratulated Bounnhang Vorachith upon his election as the president of Laos at the First Session of the 8th National Assembly of Laos, wishing the Lao party and people success in their struggle to implement the decision of the 10th Congress of the LPRP.

He expressed the invariable stand of the WPK to invariably strengthen the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the Lao party and people, true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Bounnhang Vorachith extended once again warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un upon his election as chairman of the WPK, adding he was sincerely pleased with the successful Seventh Congress of the WPK.

He said that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and two countries developing favorably day by day are bringing substantial interests to the peoples of the two countries.

We are always remembering the sincere support and encouragement sent by the WPK and the DPRK government and people to the Lao party, government and people in the past, he said, expressing belief that we will further develop the long-standing traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties, two states and two peoples.

The people's living standard in the DPRK is improving and the might of the socialist system is remarkably strengthened under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un, he said, wishing the DPRK government and people great success in the drive for defending the country and accomplishing the socialist cause.

On behalf of the LPRP, he sincerely wished Kim Jong Un who is leading the struggle of the Korean people for building a socialist power to victory good health and happiness.
