New Kinds of Machine Tools Developed in DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- The Kusong Machine Tool Factory, a leading producer of machine tools in the DPRK, developed new-type CNC sphere processing lathe and CNC cylindrical grinder with its own efforts and technology. According to its manager Kim Jong Chol, those advanced tools help process spherical machine parts with ease while ensuring the precision of products with a complex curved surface. The new-type CNC machine tools can raise the productivity 2.8 times and 3.5 times as against a general processing lathe and a general cylindrical grinder respectively. They are helpful to putting the country's machine-building industry on a higher stage. |
