WPK Delegation Tours Kaysone Phomvihane Museum

| Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) led by Choe Thae Bok, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, on a visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum in Vientiane City on Wednesday. Accompanying the delegation were the DPRK ambassador to Laos and a vice-chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of the C.C., the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. The delegation laid a floral basket before the statue of Kaysone Phomvihane before paying homage to him. Being briefed on the career of Kaysone Phomvihane, who led the national salvation struggle of the Lao people and the struggle for building fresh Laos after founding the Republic, they looked round exhibits. Choe made an entry in the visitor's book. The delegation also toured the historic relic ThatLuang Tower indicative of long history and culture of Laos. |
