Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Start of Work at C.C., WPK Observed in Hungary, Slovakia

| Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Lectures were given by the Hungarian Workers' Party and the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association on June 2 and 3 on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). The speakers informed the participants of the fact that Marshal Kim Jong Un was elected chairman of the WPK at its Seventh Congress and that they sent congratulatory messages and floral baskets to him and paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries. Referring to the fact that the WPK has won victory only, they noted the service personnel and people of the DPRK have bravely overcome stern trials and difficulties unprecedented in history and firmly defended the socialist banner thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il. |
