The organizations including the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps held a press conference for the establishment of the foundation in Seoul that day.

The speakers said that they would contribute to reinstating the honor and human rights of the victims by seeking a just solution to the sexual slavery such as making Japan admit its past crimes, probe the truth, make an official apology and legal reparation and punish those responsible and thus help the younger generation properly understand the issue of sexual slavery by promoting education in history and holding memorial service.

They called on the increasing number of citizens to participate in actions for properly understanding the issue of sexual slavery.
