S. Korean Authorities' Forced Dismissal Protested

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Joint Measure Committee of Public Sector Trade Unions of the Ryangdae Rochong held a press conference in Seoul to protest against the puppet government's forced dismissal of workers on June 7, according to the south Korean newspaper Nodong and Segye. It consists of the Public Transport and Service Trade Union and the Public Health and Medical Trade Union under the Confederation of Trade Unions and the Public Workers' Union and Finance Trade Union under the Federation of Trade Unions.

Speakers at the press conference said that all the ministries and agencies of the "government" illegally passed through the council the proposal for the introduction of unpopular labor system without an assent with the trade unions.

They declared that they would launch legal struggle against the illegal act of the "government" abusing power.

They urged the Park Geun Hye regime to listen to the angry voices of workers, though belatedly.

They warned that the public and financial workers would go into a large-scale general strike if the authorities do not stop the misruling.
