Kim Jong Il's Start of Work at C.C., WPK Observed by Swiss Organizations

| Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Preparatory Committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on June 8 on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). The statement said: Leader Kim Jong Il started his work at the C.C., the WPK on June 19, Juche 53 (1964). This marked a historic event of special significance in accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution. He faithfully assisted President Kim Il Sung in leading the party, state and army. The DPRK registered brilliant successes in all spheres including politics, economy and military affairs thanks to his outstanding ideological and theoretical activities and energetic leadership. Supreme leader Kim Jong Un has successfully carried forward the party-building idea and exploits of Kim Jong Il and thus further developed the WPK into the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. He provided a firm guarantee for victoriously accomplishing the cause of the Songun revolution through generations. |
