HE Kim Jong Il provided a firm foundation for accomplishing the cause of reunifying Korea, upholding the behest of President Kim Il Sung for national reunification.

Kim Jong Il is a lodestar of Korea's reunification who led to the road of victory and glory the Korean people's struggle for national unity and reunification and a peerless patriot who ushered in the June 15 era of reunification.

His patriotic intention and desire are being successfully carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

At the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Un set forth it as the polices for national reunification to achieve national independence and great unity, ensure peace and realize the reunification by federal formula as was advanced by the preceding leaders.

Though obstacles and difficulties may lie on the road of national reunification, Kim Jong Un has firm will and faith to achieve the national reunification, lifelong desire of the preceding leaders and greatest desire of the nation, at any cost.

Expressing belief that the Korean people will certainly usher in a new era of independent reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, the statement extended firm support and solidarity to the just cause of the Korean people.
