In the DPRK, the Party and the State bear full responsibility and take care of the people's health.

In recent years alone, such up-to-date healthcare facilities were built in the country as the Okryu Children's Hospital and Ryugyong Dental Hospital.

These facilities are a result of supreme leader Kim Jong Un's deep care for the improvement of people's health.

He personally initiated the construction of those hospitals and wisely led it ranging from their design to completion.

When visiting the Okryu Children's Hospital under construction in July Juche 102 (2013), the supreme leader even learned about the size of a sickroom and settled all problems arising in operating the hospital. He again visited the hospital in October that year and named it "Okryu Children's Hospital".

He also gave field guidance to the Ryugyong Dental Hospital under construction in September 2013 and took steps to complete its construction on the highest level.

In March 2014, he toured the hospital under operation and called upon its medical workers to give sincere health service to the people. Then he dropped in at the Okryu Children's Hospital to solve the problems arising in its management, stressing that the hospital is entirely for the sake of children's health.

The people in the DPRK are now enjoying benefits from the advantageous free healthcare system under the loving care of Kim Jong Un for them.
